Quick Shed Buying Guide

YOUR SHED BUYING GUIDE:

Shed buying doesn’t have to be hard, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t overlook a few things. When determining what shed to buy, here are a few key items to keep in mind.

1) What are you going to store?  Will you be storing small garden items, or large items like ATVs? If you are looking at smaller items, we would recommend lofted barns, utilities, or urbans. However, if you are looking to store larger items then you might want to consider a garage or a larger shed with a rampage door.

2) What size are you looking for? The first thing to keeep in mind is how much space you actually have to place the shed. Our 3D builder has an added “view in your space” option that allows you to see the shed in a virtual reality setting. We also recommend measuring your space and any openings that we will need to take the shed through. Finally you’ll want to consider all of your storage needs when choosing the right size.

3) What types of upgrades do you want? We already offer the best built sheds, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t choose upgrades. These can vary from siding type (metal vs LP SmartSide), to adding more windows, to adding ramps. We can also add shelves and workbenches.

4) Choosing your dealer. We recommend choosing your nearest dealer when searching for your next shed. They can help you out with every question that you may have. You can also call our main office at 605-354-1615 to locate your nearest dealer or ask any questions you may have.

5) Choosing your purchase type. We offer two types of ways to purchase your storage shed. The first is by using the traditional cash method. We accept credit cards, ACH, checks, cash, and money orders. The other method is our most popular method and this is Rent To Own. Simply pay one month down and pay your monthly rental fee. After 36 payments, you own the shed.

Building vs. Buying

We get this question all the time. Why don't we just build our own shed, it may save us some money? The truth. Your absolutely right. Maybe. Or absolutely wrong. It just depends. A shed manufacturer such as 605 Sheds, has the capability to buy materials in bulk and...

Not All Sheds are Created Equal

It's easy for us to sit back and criticize other sheds. However, we aren't going to do that. In fact, much of the work that goes into making sure our sheds are the sturdiest around usually came from another manufacturer. We aren't inventing the wheel here, just trying...
